9 Years Old Girl Got Raped in Seelampur inside a factory in Delhi

New Delhi, June 3 (IANS) A 9-year-old woman was allegedly raped on a weekday as she was enjoying herself on the road getting ready for her home in East Old Delhi and the suspect was inactive, according to police.

According to police, a 46-year-old man was understood in reference to the rape of a 9-year-old woman in the New Seelampur area of the capital, allegedly raping the boy inside an industrial plant.The official said that he has identified the suspect as Mohd. Shajid (46), a resident of Begusarai from Bihar.

"Immediately, the police team arrived at the indicated place and the female victim was also transferred to the JPC Hospital to be examined, which confirmed the rape," said the same official.

The police registered a case under section 376 AB, 376 (2) (l) of the Indian legal code and the half dozen section of the POCSO Act. During the preliminary investigation, it was also learned that the woman has suffered from mental illness since her childhood. Further investigation of the case is underway, the official said.
