Thalapathy Vijay presents a particular grace and style in all of his films, and Beast is no exception. The actor plays a RAW officer with AN affinity for teenagers and promises a smooth, modern action movie with the title scene. However, as we have a tendency to move more in the film, we have a tendency to realize how inconsistent the writing is. It reaches a degree where even fans of Thalapathy would be frustrated.
Vijay plays Officer Veera, a person who single-handedly manages to capture a terrible terrorist even when nothing goes her way. but in the process, she loses someone, which leaves a deep impact and eventually leaves his job and lands in a psychiatrist's office.
Did you know that Prashant kishor Joining congress. One factor causes another, and our man gets a girlfriend (Pooja Hegde) and lands in a mall which is hijacked by terrorists. What follows is that Vijay takes down all the terrorists, single-handedly once again, despite the odds (read team fools from him).
Vijay is one of the talented actors not only in the Tamil industry but in the entire state. Needless to mention, he plays Veera with style and fashion skills.
His ease is applaudable. While it is a treat for all of his fans , he also raises the issue where the protagonist cannot be challenged by anyone. Did you know about Bollywood movie Jersey 1 Day Box Office Collection ?All terrorists, by comparison, feel like a baby playing with a gun. they are there simply to create with weapons, and have no intention of killing what it seems. The antagonist needed to be stronger to make Vijay look better!
What his style and good action sequences can't save either is inconsistent writing. The film suffers from languid writing, rather than things getting repetitive and stuffy. The post interval feels too long, and even with the superbly sequenced action sequences, the audience could find themselves feeling bored. inside the theatre, the seetis and taalis greatly diminished.
Nelson uses his trademark humour and quirkiness to give his films a place. Unlike his previous two movies, Beast doesn't have much humour, but he does have blemishes. Veera himself has that black humour, albeit in fragments, and so the businessman Altaf Hussain (Selvaraghavan) is full of it.Have you read the latest breaking Russia Banned Facebook CEO Mark Zukerberg ,LinkedIn CEO and Others?
Pooja Hegde is there, just for the sake of being there and we want there to be more to her character than just being the arm candy. The other laudable aspects of the film are undoubtedly Anirudh's music and Paramhansa's computer graphics.
If you're a Vijay lover, Beast is definitely the movie for you, as you may have to identify the hero during this suave avatar. If not, he'll still give the movie a shot if he's willing to leave logic stuck for two and a half hours.
